TikTok user catches NFT insider trading thanks to blockchain ledger

Tiktok user, dleen.ious posted a video September 14th about selling his NFT to the head of product for the platform. The user notes in his video the transaction on the blockchain where it executed. Twitter user @RicefarmerNFT addressed The NFT sold here. The NFT in question can be seen here with a current standing offer for $1000 profit.

The platform later posted an announcement on the misconduct. Continuing to cite that employees are not allowed to buy or sell items that are being promoted. “OpenSea team members are prohibited from using confidential information to purchase or sell any NFTs, whether available on the OpenSea platform or not.” Later adding all addressed policies to the company.
